European White Birch  (Betula pendula alba)

 

Ornamental, hardy shade tree known for its bright green foliage and white bark.  Grows to 60’ tall and 2’ in diameter, with either a central or divided trunk.  Leaves are 1-2 ½ inches long.  Best adapted to moist sites with deep, rich soil.
