Red Oak (Quercus rubra)
Grows to 75 feet. Foliage
turns deep red in the Fall. Acorns
are about 1” long. The
wood is commercially valuable to the furniture and lumber markets.
Excellent street or yard tree.
Does best in well-drained soil.
