White Dogwood (Cornus
florida)
One of the most popular of our native trees. In early Spring it is covered with white-pedaled flowers; in early Fall with red berries and
crimson leaves. Excellent ornamental which grows 15 to 40 feet tall, 6 to 18 inches in diameter. Prefers moist, rich soil.
