White Oak (Quercus alba)




Grows 80-100' tall and 3-4' in diameter with a wide spreading crown.  The gray bark is in narrow, vertical blocks of scaly plates.   Leaves have a purple-red Fall color.  Valuable wood for furniture and hardwood floors.
