Concolor Fir (Abies
concolor)
Needles are flat, about 1 ½ to 2 inches long and
bluish-green in color. The
new growth is light colored and remains so during much of the year.
Excellent for ornamentals and timber.
There has been a rapid increase in their demand as cut
Christmas trees in recent years.
It should only be planted in well drained areas.
