Fraser Fir (Abies fraseri)

Medium size, gray bark, flat, dark green needles 1/2 to 1-1/4" long.  Used for ornamentals but also develops into one of the premier cut Christmas Trees available in the United States.  Transplants are recommended for successful field planting.  Seedlings may be planted if you maintain close to 100% weed control.   Yearly field fertilization is recommended.
