Canadian Hemlock (Tsuga canadensis)

Pyramidal habit.  Foliage is gracefully slender, spray-like in appearance.  Short, fat needles, varying from dark green to light green during growing season.  Likes moisture.  May be planted as an ornamental or beautiful hedge if controlled by shearing.
